We are a small caring breeder that endeavours to improve the quality and temperament of our Bassets with each breeding. We show our dogs to at least a Canadian Championship, and some of our dogs also show in the U.S.A.
We usually breed only one litter per year because of the time it takes to properly raise puppies. The whole process can take over five months from start to finish. All of our pups are vet checked at least twice, dewormed twice, and given their first round of vaccinations. All pups are micro-chipped with C.K.C. approved chips. We offer a complete health guarantee for our pups.
When people decide to acquire a Basset from us, they are invited to our home to meet with us and have an interview. The interview lets us know whether they expect a pet or a show dog, and what kind of environment the dog will be raised in. All of our dogs are sold with non-breeding ownerships from the C.K.C. The cancellation of this agreement is possible once certain criterias are met.

Bay Four You Bassets believes in supporting the groups that are in place to help our breed. That is why we belong to the Canadian Kennel Club, the Basset Hound Club of Canada and The Basset Hound Club of America.

Am. Can.GCh. Hullabloo's Perfect Ten CGN - Cali
Can.Ch. Bayfouryou's Island Girl CGN - Maui
Mabel has three Canadian champions from her first two litters, with a fourth well on the way.
Cali was the Top Basset Hound in show last year (2008) and is next to be in the welping box.
Maui is a real sweetheart and will be on the show trail more next year.
